Mr Shawn Lim started his career in 2000 as the first management trainee at CapitaLand and has 25 years of working experience in real estate investment/asset management/development and fund development/raising/management, holding senior positions in companies including CFLD International, Ascendas, AXA Real Estate, Great Eastern and CapitaLand.
Experienced in numerous real estate investments in Asia Pacific markets including Singapore, China, Australia, India, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Full spectrum hands-on experience in fund business development from the assembly of initial portfolio, fund structuring/documentations, fund raising/investor relations/branding & developing fund management best practices. Experienced in raising both private real estate funds and listed REITs. Built up a potential investor base of > 100 SWFs, pension funds, insurance funds & other institutional investors.
Shawn graduated with a 1st class honours in Real Estate from National University of Singapore and was awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal and Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers Gold Medal.
